Center the Sun safely without any neck strain. The first solar finder designed for direct rear-viewing through a translucent target.
Translucent rear projection for effortless solar alignment
Finding the Sun through a telescope or refractor can be frustrating and hazardous without the right tools. Most commercial solar finders force the user into awkward viewing angles. Azur3dprint redesigns this essential tool with a translucent rear-projection solar finder that changes the game.
🎯 Translucent Target TrackingThe solar dot projected by the front pinhole appears clearly through the rear white target. You can adjust your mount while staying comfortably seated behind your scope, safe in the shade. |
🔌 Seamless CompatibilityThe finder's body features a built-in Mini-Vixen dovetail base. It slides effortlessly into standard finder shoes found on most major telescopes (Sky-Watcher, Orion, TS-Optics, etc.). |
This solar finder is engineered for durability. It consists of a rigid central mount onto which the front plate (with its calibrated pinhole) and the rear crosshair target are mechanically secured. Stainless steel screws guarantee a perfectly stable structural alignment over long summer imaging sessions under intense heat soak.
💡 The Astronomer's Advice: "The biggest hassle in solar imaging is losing the sun while tweaking your laptop setup and having to reset your mount. With this rear translucent layout, the bright sun dot is instantly visible from the back. You can re-center your scope in 3 seconds flat without ever stepping out of your monitor's shade shroud."
