The coronal filter holder is a specialized accessory for Sol’Ex, allowing ambitious observers to attempt one of the most challenging solar observations: the detection of the hot solar corona outside of eclipses.
By using a Baader Solar Continuum filter tilted by about 25°, the setup isolates the Fe XIV green emission line at 530.3 nm, enabling the capture of coronal structures heated to ~2 million °C.
This accessory includes a robust 3D-printed interface and a tiltable filter mount with external knurled screw control, making filter adjustment easy, stable and reproducible.

⚠️ Solar observation is inherently dangerous. Always use appropriate protective filters and follow safety guidelines. Neither the manufacturer nor the reseller can be held responsible in case of misuse.
