🌞 Polarizing filter holder for Sol’Ex

The polarizing filter holder is a dedicated accessory for Sol’Ex, designed to enable the observation of the Sun’s magnetic field. Thanks to the Zeeman effect, it becomes possible to detect magnetic structures on the solar surface and produce your own magnetograms — a remarkable achievement with such a compact instrument.

Users only need to cut circular polarizers from cinema 3D glasses and attach them to the drawers. Once installed at the entrance of Sol’Ex, this setup makes advanced magnetic field observations accessible at low cost.
