Carbon PETG anti-dew protection, integrated 2" filter retention, and calculated zero-vignetting optics

Heavy night condensation and stray lateral light are the main obstacles during long integration runs on the ZWO Seestar S50 Pro. Precision manufactured in Cannes, France, the Shield Modular Dew Shield solves these challenges while acting as a rock-solid 2" filter holder. Crafted from Carbon-Fiber reinforced PETG (PETG-CF), it offers maximum structural stiffness without burdening the instrument's tracking motors.

🔬 Precision Engineered Light Path (Zero Vignetting)

📏 Strict 1.5\times D Geometry

Featuring an exact 75.2 mm free length and a flared 55.36 mm front aperture, this dew tube respects the entire optical cone, preventing corner falloff and edge vignetting on raw astro-frames.

🔒 Universal 2" Lock Spacers Included

Includes a retaining lock ring and a set of 1 mm spacer rings. Standard 2" astronomical filters (M48), whether slim (5 mm) or standard (6 mm), are clamped securely without rattle or shift.

  • With Anti-Drop Baseplate (€53.90): Dual articulated hinge with lateral swing. Zero drop risk for valuable 2" filters.

2. Optional Clip-On Front Masks:

  • Bundle your shield with the Bahtinov Mask (+€9.90), the Diffraction Spike Mask (+€9.90), or choose the Duo Pack (+€12.00 instead of €16.90).
