🇬🇧 SUNSCAN Mode — Accessories for Sol’Ex

This set of four 3D-printed accessories allows you to use your Sol’Ex in SUNSCAN mode.
Printed in premium European PETG, they ensure extra rigidity and good heat resistance, allowing long and safe solar observation sessions.

🌞 What is SUNSCAN mode?

SUNSCAN mode is a simplified way of using Sol’Ex that requires no equatorial mount or heavy optics.
With just a photo tripod, a modified 8x50 finder scope and optionally a Kodak plate, simply point the Sun and let its natural drift across the field produce the scan.
👉 In less than 10 minutes setup, you can already observe solar prominences and flares directly on your screen.
